Once bought and within 90 days of purchase can I :
a) buy the Acer extended warranty
b) does it cover breakdown
c) does it cover accidental damage
d) is there an excess
e) is there a claims limit (I'd personally prefer to be claim free obviously
f) how much

You can buy the warranty from us within 90 days of the puchase of your laptop. Provides a International Travellers warranty and Accidental damage. Also collect and return from the repair centre. There is just a excess on the screen of 60 euros.

You can't exstend the warranty on replacement laptops. Acer can confirm this on 0870 760 1000.

Yes the warranty will cover that model. Its as stated, a collect and return policy. No theft is covered by insurance not warranty extensions.
