The belfry Faaborg is the landmark of the city of Faaborg.
This tower is the remnant of a church dating back to around 1250, the tower itself was built around 1478 and fortunately has been preserved after the church was demolished.
The carillon itself dates back to 1960 and consists of 38 bells, in addition there are two larger bells.Source: I do not remember ...June 11, 2019
The free-standing bell tower is the landmark of the city of Faaborg. It is the bell tower of the town church of St. Nikolai, which was demolished in 1536.
