This SAS raid controller by Broadcom features 24 native SAS/SATA ports, which enables it to harness the latest PCI Express 3.0 interface to increase performance and throughput.

By utilizing SAS expanders, you can install up to 240 drives via direct connection to the MegaRAID SAS 9361-24i's internal 12-Gb/s interface.

Data Protection for Enterprises

Data retention is supported by MegaRAID SAS 9361-24i RAID controller.

NAND flash memory is used on the controller, backed up by a CacheVault Power Module 02 (CVPM02).

In the case of a power outage or server failure, the CVPM02 supercapacitor module provides power for data backup.

CVPM02 module is connected to controller remotely through a cable. Throughout the MegaRAID controller board, there is a NAND flash memory that is used to back up the data.

The MegaRAID SAS 9361-24i supports the most popular RAID levels, including RAID 5 and RAID 6.
