When party girl Peaches Geldof announced her pregnancy our jaws literally hit our keyboards.
But six months down the line, Peaches has proved us and everyone else wrong as she looks to be taking to motherhood like a duck to water, and it makes us all warm and fuzzy inside to see.
Fresh from unveiling baby son Astala in a mag earlier this week, Peaches and rocker boyf Thomas Cohen took their pride and joy for a trip to the park.
Astala spent most of his time being cradled by his mother. Suppose there can't really be much else to do at the park for a one month old.
In a recent interview, Peaches told of her trauma after Astala was whisked away after being born, as he was not able to breathe properly.
Speaking to Hello magazine, she recalled the experiecne: "He had a lack of something called surfactant, which made it a struggle for him to breathe. He was in intensive care for a few days.
"It was the most terrifying experience to have our tiny baby whisked away like that. I was yearning for that skin-to-skin contact I'd waited so long for and to not be able to hold him and nurse him and comfort him was so upsetting."
