Very interesting inside look at Nazi Germany. Now wishing I had read Speer's own book Inside the Third Reich before reading this.

Albert Speer
Hitler’s Architect

The book I read about was called Hitler's Architect. It was a very good book it gave me a lot of information. On the war and different plans that Hitler had. If I was to give it a star rating it would be about a 4 and a half stars. I give this book that rating because It had a lot of information and it kinda got repetitive at times. But the information and stories in the book was fantastic. The book talked about the plans and building ideas that Albert speer had. It also talked about how he was also was tried at Nuremberg as one of 22 main war criminals at the time. He was also known for Germany's reconstruction. He saved himself from death and was imprisoned for 22 years . These are just some fun facts about him. I highly recommend this book if you like history. Especially if you like reading about World War Two. The story talks a lot about different projects Speer built for Hitler. This book was a very good book in my opinion I learned a lot about this guy and different crimes he commited in his life. I feel like the Author did a very good job with this book. I would recommend this to many people and this book made me look up even more about Albert Speer and his life. I learned that he didn't know much about the genocide of Jews and death camps when he was tried for war crimes. He was known for his management of industrial production and the economy in the war. All the other things i talked about where what happened after the war. He was born on March 19,1905, in Mannheim. It was a city southern Germany. He was raised by servants much like middle and upperclassmen in the day. He became Hitler's lead Architect in the war. He is talked about in many books. After the war some he wrote. Like in side the third Reich which was published in 1963. A few years after he was out of jail. As I said in the beginning of this review it is a excellent book if you like non fiction. As well as war books. Although the book did not talk much about battles it was still a great biography and it is a must read if you like to learn about different things built and done for the nazi party at this time period. This book made me want to read other books this guy made and was in. It wall made me want to learn more about what went on inside Nazi Party at the time. From when it got power and how it came about. But this guy Albert Speer was very interesting and kinda mysteries. Because it made you think to yourself if he actually committed the crimes he was accused of. I think he was in some ways and other ways i don't. But I will let you decide for yourself. This book has taught me a lot and it didn't take long to read either a day or so for myself. So please read this book. It is very interesting. Went back to reread it again and i learned something new. Thanks and I hope you give it a try and good job to the author.
