Ashley Olsen has recently become a mother after secretly welcoming a baby boy with husband Louis Eisner earlier this year.

According to TMZ, the actress-turned-designer, who tied the knot with Eisner in an under-the-radar ceremony in Bel-Air in December, gave birth to her first child, a son called Otto “a few months ago” in New York.

Insiders say the intimate wedding had just “50 people or so” with the likes of Ashley's twin sister Mary-Kate Olsen and their younger sister, Marvel star Elizabeth Olsen in attendance.

Ashley's relationship with her artist husband has been mostly kept under wraps and the couple are notoriously private, having only been spotted out together just a handful of times in NYC. They've reportedly been dating since 2017 when they attended the Hammer Museum's Gala in the Garden event together.

There were rumours they got engaged in 2019 and the pair made their first red-carpet appearance together in 2021.

It's thought they met through mutual high school friends in Los Angeles and hit it off straight away, waiting another five years before properly dating.

In 2021, fans got a peek into their relationship when Eisner took to Instagram Stories to share a snap of them during a nature walk, featuring Ashley enjoying a beer with a huge machete to hand as they trekked through a trail.

Eisner is an artist who grew up in California. His mother Lisa is a famous fashion photographer and jewellery designer. He posted a sweet snap about her on his Instagram for Mother’s Day 2019, writing: “You gave me life and also taught me how to find its magical beauty. Forever thankful to you and all the mothers in the world.”

According to Interview, Eisner went to Columbia University and studied art history. He was part of Still House Group, a collective of young artists, for years after he graduated.

Ivanka Trump reportedly bought an Eisner piece in 2013, says Bloomberg, so his work is part of her art collection.

Congrats, Ashley and Louis!
