Kelly Clarkson cemented her icon status after joking about her weight loss at her Las Vegas residency, “Chemistry…an Intimate Night With Kelly Clarkson,” and taking shots with fans.
In a fan-recorded video that subsequently gained traction on TikTok, the Grammy winner and talk show host can be seen yukking it up with fans before taking a shot with a crowd member who was celebrating their 22nd birthday.

As Clarkson bent over to snag the drink, she poked fun at the physical limitations imposed by her skintight jumpsuit. “Oh, boy. I really can’t bend in this,” she joked in the clip. “Dude, this is tight. Like, I lost weight and [my styling team is] like, ‘Let’s get you into this tight shit.’”
The crowd can be heard roaring as Clarkson tosses back the shot. And not a seam was ripped!

In a recent People cover story, Clarkson revealed that she lost weight under a doctor’s supervision without using Ozempic. The change comes amid Clarkson’s glowy post-divorce era following her tumultuous split from Brandon Blackwood earlier this year.
According to court documents obtained by The New York Post, Clarkson claimed Blackwood, who used to serve as her manager, once told her she wasn’t enough of a “sex symbol” to judge The Voice, adding that she was “too similar” to Blake Shelton. When asked by her lawyer how she could recall this conversation, Clarkson reportedly replied, “Well, a wife doesn’t forget a time she gets told she’s not a sex symbol, so that stays.”
Kelly Clarkson, of course, went on to join The Voice as a judge in 2018, winning four times before leaving the competition series in 2023. So there!
