For many, Jessica Alba will always be Sue Storm from The Fantastic 4. All of us who grew up in the 2000s remember her with platinum blonde hair and an ultratight navy blue suit. But over the years, the 42-year-old actor has shown us that she is as multifaceted as they come. In 2011 she showed a new version of herself as an entrepreneur with The Honest Company, a clean baby and beauty products company. And in 2023 she added home renovator to her resumé with the TV show Honest Renovations alongside Lizzy Mathis.

For Jessica Alba, working in interior design and decoration is not completely unexpected (the tour of her $10 million house is one of the most emblematic stories in Architectural Digest), but now the actor is getting into the remodeling business with a Roku-exclusive show in order to change the lives of several families.

The promotion of her new show has also prompted Alba to leave her Los Angeles residence for a few days in rainy New York City. That’s good news for us, as it means we’ll have plenty of wardrobe inspiration, from the vibrant orange dress she wore a couple of days ago to an iconic power suit that proves that when in doubt, denim-on-denim will always be the answer.

With this blue denim monochromatic look, Jessica Alba gave a lesson on how to wear denim to the office. The key: structure. Alba brought the look together with a blazer with wide lapels and shoulder pads, which she paired with a denim bustier and on-trend flared hip jeans. After all, ’70s pants will remain the competition for Y2K low-rise jeans. To accessorize, the actor wore white pumps, a matching shoulder bag, sunglasses, and celebrity-favored hoops.
