What a weird fragrance. On me it's like I turned into a walking campfire when I wore this. Like I was the smoke. Every once in a while the sweet gourmand that so many others get would peak through, then disappear again. After about six hours I ended up layering Replica's By the Fireplace over top of it to get it to chill out. Which is not something I ever thought I would say about BtF. Not for me but it was a fun sampling experience.

This is a very nice smell, boozy, sweet myrrh and resins. It’s a clever idea and the materials seem to be of excellent quality. My only hesitation is there seems to be something off in the balance of the scent. I’m not sure how to explain it but it feels like there’s this big, undigested lump of resins just sitting there and the rest of the scent is kind of working around it? If that makes any sense at all.

Delightfully rich and decadent. This is a myrrh gourmand on me all day. No animalic notes to be found at any stage. I do get the benzoin in the dry down but it just adds to the airy, whipped honey quality. My only complaint is that it sweetens up on my skin as it wears and becomes a bit more inviting than I'm comfortable with. Just wish it retained a little more of the spice quality to give it an edge.

This has turned into an all-natural brand:
"I am currently unsure of what the future looks like for Myrhhder. It is the last thing in stock that is mixed media. If I re-work it to be all natural, it will change significantly, as 2 major ingredients are synthetic aroma molecules. We will see, but right now, it is not a priority."

Previous reviewers are talking of pancakes, marshmallow, sweetness. I am not receiving any of this gourmand quality from my Lucky Scent sample I am revisiting before actually going to make before considering another Tsvga. There is very apparent medium grade oud mixed with what I think that is the inexpensive oud purposely scented in vessels to smell more of barnyard. Lesser familiar oud noses would think this is a positive but in this case not so much. This perfume is saved a bit by being pretty equally treated to what my nose perceived as a lot of amberine. As I want to like this as it would normally be my cup of tea I’m afraid there is just something off perhaps in a tincture. As in a muskiness in animal fats gone rancid. I really do not want people to think I’m trying to give us some improper review or anything but it’s literally what I smell that is off, the civet in a porta potty and trying to ignore that I get a perfume that is too smoky for office or date night unless I was camping. Not an appealing perfume to me personally.
I will try again with another Tsvga sometime. I see there is a new release.

This one was a slow burn, let me put it that way...
The resins were soft and subtle, and then the booziness ramped up and really grabbed my attention. There is indeed some tasty gourmand yumness in the back, and that's exactly what I'm all about, to be frank. Big fan. Big BIG big fan. I'm gonna have to add this to my looong list of 'try exclusively', as opposed to the 4 or 6 per day nonsense I've been subjecting myself to lately...

Extremely special smelling. Incense resins made sweet like syrup or sugar with a bit of liquor

This fragrance is great, I totally agree with the person below saying that it smells like pancakes lightly soaked in amaretto with brown butter caramel and maple syrup drizzled! It is without question an amazing gourmand, I feel like everything from TSVGA has a gourmand aspect to it which is right up my alley!

I have always loved Incense perfumes. I sampled this first, then immediately bought a bottle! The benzoin and myrrh are the first notes that I noticed (and they are beautiful!), but with the addition of sandalwood and Oud it made this smell like no other Incense perfume I have ever had. This is totally unique to my nose, I can't really categorize it as a certain type. It's wonderfully woody, sweet, boozy, and of course Incense-ey, and I hope that makes sense lol! For me the projection depends on how many sprays I use, and I normally wear 4-6 with this. As for longevity, it's insanely long for a natural niche. On skin it lasts 24 hours and on clothing it lasts for days! My husband, who very rarely comments on the perfumes that I wear, was very effusive with praise on this.

This just amazing. Toasted marshmallows anyone? Incredible, warm and cozy gourmand! Especially with mysore sandalwood, the price is just amazing for such a high quality perfume.

WOW WOW WOW!!!
This is my new favorite Gourmand. This is intoxicating and addictive. Smells like, Salted brown butter caramel, with maple syrup and is just as delicious as it gets. It is also loaded with natural ingredients, and you can REALLY smell the quality in this bottle. There isn't a shred of synthetic notes in this composition. It's just perfectly conceived and masterfully blended. This is ultra rich and resinous, and the sillage is quite large. It performs at least 10 hours on my dry skin. The new bottles featuring TSVGA Parfums owner/creator/perfumer James Barry's art work are beautiful and very cool. I will always have a bottle of Myrrhder in my possession. Women LOVE this on me too. In fact everyone loves this on me.
10 out of 10, this is a MUST HAVE for gourmand lovers.

One of my favorite night out fragrances. Basically if I put it simply, this smells like boozy amaretto soaked marshmallow infused pancakes. And it's to die for. The oud makes it so deep and interesting. Love it
