Great walking sandal

Better than Barefoot even with "Bad" Feet
I put these slides on two mornings ago and can barely take them off for the comfort and ease they provide. It's like walking barefoot --- the way I remember when I was a kid anyhow. The shoes look BETTER in person than online - less chunky and a very pretty color. I got the blue jewel tone and even my 8-year-old "fashionista" said they looked cool with my jeans yesterday and my dressier sundress today. But the real key here is COMFORT. I don't feel them at all while wearing them, and I literally feel like I am walking on air. I have moderate bunions and second-toe hammer toes on both feet (hereditary gifts from my mom and grandmother and years of dancing) and these shoes make me totally forget that fact. There is NO pain, NO friction. I was reticent that there was not a back strap but my feet were solid and secure in the footbed. I can't wait to try other "dressier" ABEO (and to get another pair of Jewels) as well as to share this comfort brand with friends and family. Thank you ABEO. Home run in my wardrobe of shoes.
Decent fit, but footbed lacks circulation
I purchased these because Abeo is no longer making the Barbara sandal. These sandals are very close to what I was looking for - the Abeo footbed is contoured for higher arches, and the fabric, adjustable upper is great. My only issue is that, because the footbed is made of synthetics, my feet sweat. There's no circulation. I will have to purchase some thin cotton socks to prevent this. I guess that's the price for a water-resistant sandal.
