Words can’t convey how extraordinary this painting truly is. It’s a small canvas, but it packs a colorful wallop! Afremov is one of our very favorite artists. We own 3 of his large paintings and have about 45 more on our “most wanted” list. His work will forever be remembered and cherished. I was so grateful to find this particular piece, which I’d never seen before. So many of his paintings “look like” my husband & me…he’s a tall, handsome man with burnished gold hair, and I have long red hair: they capture our fairytale love story & passion so very well. (Of course, while I think my husband is even more beautiful than the paintings, I only dream of being as pretty as Afremov’s fiery haired lovelies.) His paintings make me feel alive, capturing a vast sea of emotions. They remind 8me of Tori Amos’ glorious songs. Thank you!
