Watercolor drawing original. Delicate colors of the beautiful early bloomer crocus.
Here in delicate violet, which is very typical for many crocuses, and with the strong yellow of the flower pistils gives a wonderful harmonious contrast.
I painted this picture spontaneously, because my crocuses had blossomed to coincide with International Women's Day and I was very happy about it.
During the painting there was a glass of champagne for the said occasion.
