Sevilla's Benoit Tremoulinas flattered by Paris Saint-Germain link

Sevilla full-back Benoit Tremoulinas has told RMC he is flattered by interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

With Lucas Digne expected to leave the Parc des Princes this summer, Tremoulinas, 29, has been mentioned as a potential replacement to provide quality backup for Maxwell at left-back.

Tremoulinas only signed for Sevilla from Dynamo Kiev last year, earning himself an international recall from France coach Didier Deschamps thanks to his performances in the Spanish top flight.

The former Bordeaux defender said he was happy at Sevilla but was pleased his name had been mentioned in connection with PSG.

"It's very flattering that my name gets brought up," Tremoulinas, who was part of Sevilla's Europa League-winning side last term, said. "I'm at Sevilla, we had a great season. I can't say that, while I am at Sevilla, I want to go to PSG.

"I have great respect for Sevilla, and I have two years left on my contract, but it's very flattering PSG are interested in me."

Should Tremoulinas, who has four France caps, move to the French capital, he would be reunited with Laurent Blanc, with whom he won the Ligue 1 title in 2008-09 at Bordeaux.

"It's true that things went very well at Bordeaux. We ended up as league champions and reached the Champions League quarterfinals," he said.

He added: "For the moment, I'm on holiday. We'll see about things later. There will be some meetings with my agent, who is handling all that. I will know more about it when I come back from holiday."
