First edition on ordinary paper with all the characteristics of the first impression for the first volume (fault to Grasset, upper cover dated 1913, no contents table, publisher's catalogue at end); first edition, no justification for the second volume, on ordinary paper; the rest are numbered first editions on pur fil paper, the only reimposed large paper copies.
This complete collection of “In search of lost time” comprises the following titles: “Swann's Way”, “In the Shadow of Young Girls in Flower”, “The Guermantes Way” (2 vols), “Sodom and Gomorrah” (3 vols), “The Prisoner” (2 vols), “The Fugitive” (2 vols), and “Time Regained” (2 vols).
Ex libris pasted onto top of ffep of first volume.
A handsome, unsophisticated, and exceptionally fresh set, in 7 chemises and slipcases of dark blue cloth.
