First published in 12 separate. Rare. The first edition was published in full at the same time works. There was also an edition 8 In 2 volumes, which is considered as the first separate edition, either as the original genuine, some thinking that the publication in a collective edition is not a first edition; however, it assigns a prior to the publication of the complete works in Confessions. Brochures period in poor condition. Uncut. Back almost missing parts except securities. Foxing on the last three pages of the first volume, and the last eight pages of the second volume. Folded corners at the beginning and end of the book. Confessions contain only the first part, consisting of the first six books, in fact, it is the centerpiece of Rousseau, who had kept the manuscript of the last 6 books she confided to a publisher in 1789.
