In the wake of a nuclear holocaust, an organization known as E.B.N.E.R.S. made an appeal for world peace. The best and brightest scientists helped E.B.N.E.R.S. and designed special aircars to help them establish and maintain world peace -- realizing that another nuclear war meant the end of humanity. Unfortunately, E.B.N.E.R.S. intends to take over the world, and they have placed bombs in every major city. You must stop them. Pilot an aircar, pick up weapons, and destroy key installations within each E.B.N.E.R.S. base complex. All enemy bases must be neutralized in order to save the new world.
Aircars supports up to eight players networked by ICD's CatBox. It also supports Atari's Jaglink in a two-player mode. The networking code is stable and works reliably. Each player is allowed to select a name and is assigned a different color aircar, though there are also computer controlled aircars and tanks in the game.
