As a Wi-Fi Extender, I expected it to reach further extending the signal. It performs well, just doesn't get the signal out much further. In an office complex with a distance of 200 feet I was able to go from no connection to a connection with no Internet. The signal was so weak I wasn't able to get a connection that worked. In my house on the other hand, the Wi-Fi Extender works perfect. Connected with Kasa Smart Plugs in the upstairs bedrooms where the signal wasn't strong enough. I'd recommend in a home environment where there are few walls to pass through. In an office environment, the TP-Link Wi-Fi Extender fails miserably.

The main purpose I bought this is because it has range extender + smart plug together. When it comes to range extender, I didn't not see any impressive performance instead I would loose the WiFi connection every now and then. But smart plug is a really great as it is very effective. This product was sold as refurbished so I was happy with price as well.
