This is the second glass cooktop replacement that I have bought for my elderly Jenn Aire. The unit is 30 years old. I bought the identical glass replacement some 5 years ago for $200. This one was $300. I bit the bullet so as to not have to put in a whole new cooktop likely with an expensive hood. This one has been strong. I live alone and usually can get by with infrequently using only one of the cooktops, but it was necessary to replace the stainless steel with exposed elements so that it would only look 15 years old. I will not be throwing this kind of money at my unit again.

I couldn’t be happier! I had old eyes that kept my cookware crooked and I’m in love! I didn’t really want to make the investment but I wanted the range updated. Very happy I went this direction.

Heats up in seconds. Fits perfectly. Great new look for our Jenn Aire cook top...and a much less cost than replacing the entire unit!

It's simple. I plugged it into my old cooktop and turned the knobs to high and the burners became a glowing red hot. That's all I need to see.

Don't worry about the black painted frame just apply some Jasco paint remover and scrape with a plastic putty knife to reveal stainless steel, looks like New in 30 minutes.
