About a year ago i bought a EW100 microphone thinking it was a G2 but it was not and unfortunately didn't work well with my receiver. When i found this receiver its in great shape, it works great with my mic, and it was a great price, shpping was quick and fair, all in all a great deal. Thanks good guys

The pack is metal (good for durability) but a little heavy. The mic is very clear and attaches to shirt, jacket or tie for best reception. The microphone and cable seem fragile and should be handled with care as a replacement is $150.00 for the Sennheiser mic and cable. I don’t recommend the aftermarket version for $35 as the sensitivity is not the same. But over all a good Mic set up I recommend!

Sennheiser EW100 transmitters and receivers fall in the sweet spot of wireless systems: the functionality is good and because of their age their price on the second-hand market is reasonable. Using analog UHF technology they have a wider range than modern digital systems and are not susceptible to cell phone interference.

Sennheiser quality. There is no problem that it is older :) A small disadvantage is the 9V battery (newer models use 2xAAA, which is cheaper). Also, there is no battery status indicator for this model.

The receiver was easy to setup and used in church. It was tested Easter Sunday and it worked fine.
