About this product

Product Information

Halloween is a special time for the Jack Brothers. It is the one day of the year when they can leave their fairy land and cross over to the realm of the humans. This time, however, they've stayed far too long. It's now a race against time to return home or they're lost forever! Choose from Jack O' Lantern, Jack Frost or Jack Skelton and journey through six multi-floored stages before the clock runs out. Each floor is a maze filled with creatures and keys, where taking damage means losing precious time. Luckily, each brother has a weapon and special attack to battle both the enemies and boss characters. A pixie will also help explain each level in detail!

The description of the item purchased was accurate and it works really well on my switch. For games at a good price, I recommend others to buy from this person. It came well packaged and arrived today. Once it arrived, it worked as mentioned in the description. I give this seller a 5 star rating.

The seller listed as a "brand new" game, but the game arrived is not sealed and only has a dirty sealing sticker, which is definitely not brand new. If I want a used one, I'll just go to local owners to find a much cheaper one. Not much to complain about the shipping though. Not the fastest, but still OK. I didn't bother ask the seller and started the return process, so I'll leave the "Seller Communication" a five star.

  • a rare gem... a shame so few have played it

An off-shoot of the Megami Tensei series, Jack Bros. is top-down action/puzzle game for the Virtual Boy, and it's also one of the rarest games for that system. The game is quite fun, it actually plays a lot like the dungeons from Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past. You start from the top floor, and, gathering keys, work your way through traps and enemies to the exit and drop down to the next level, descending until you reach the stage boss. Jack Bros. throws a nice mix of puzzle and action elements at you, which are made all the more interesting by the unique health system: not only is each stage timed, but every time you're hit you lose an extra chunk of time, anywhere from 5-30 seconds. it's this mix of speed and caution which really makes the game fun. Control is sharp, thanks in ...

  • Jack Bros. (Virtual Boy)

I very much liked this TRUE 3-D video game. Great graphics. Great action game. I would rate this game #14 of the 14 US Nintendo Virtual Boy games. The price range that I have noticed lately is $65-$135.

  • Jack Bros 3D Style

Jack Bros is the rarest virtual boy game made. Its the only game made by Atlus for the virtual boy. There are six fun 3d levels that will give you a good challenge and a fun time.

  • Rarest U.S. Virtual Boy game, not that bad of a game

This game was one of the last games released for the system before it went off the deep end. As a result, it is thought by many to be the rarest U.S.-released game for the VB. In regards to the game itself, it’s a pretty good time. You pick between three players who go through maps trying to kill enemies and obtain keys to move on to the next level. The game plays a lot like Gauntlet (also, you have a similar perspective as you're looking down at the characters from an overhead view.) Game play is ok - graphics are good for the system capabilities. However, the game is a bit too easy. All in all, it’s still one of the more fun games for the system and is certainly worth it given its rarity. For reasons of the game itself and its scarcity, I highly recommend the game.
