Protects, but uncomfortable to hold, avoid
It might protect the ipad, but it's got lots of hard plastic edges and is uncomfortable to hold. Only the corners are rubberised, the straight edges are plastic with sharp edges. The case is also open at the bottom to allow the attachment of a keyboard so the bottom edge of the ipad is open. Finally the back is a hard plastic with the pen holder which, again, is uncomfortable to hold. Find it hard to believe Griffin made this, their survivor case for Ipad Air is very good. This feels like a cheap knockoff. AvoidIt might protect the ipad, but it's got lots of hard plastic edges and is uncomfortable to hold. Excelent case for protecting your iPad - Recommended
As a trades person using my iPad on building sites I rely on Griffin Survivor Cases. This casehas stood the test of time and continues to do so from dust and damp enviroments to being dropped knocked and bumped this case performs its job brilliantly.
