Product Information

Wipeout: The Game is based on the reality television game show, broadcast on the ABC network in the U.S. Players take part in a series of obstacle course competitions, in which they must run, jump, climb, and balance as they race to the finish line. The game is hosted by virtual versions of television personalities John Anderson, John Henson, and Jill Wagner. As in genre-founding Japanese sports entertainment game shows such as Takeshi's Castle (known as MXC in the U.S.) and Sasuke, the run of the courses in Wipeout is reminiscent of a real-life platform game, with suspended pathways, moving parts, and successive challenges that require good timing and balance. Courses are lined with padded walls and are usually built above pools of water, to provide softer landings for contestants who fall short. The DS edition of the game features favorite TV competitions such as "Sucker Punch," "Big Balls," and "Sweeper."

    One of the best games I have got for our DS!

    I got this game for my 7 year old son! From the first day he was hooked! The game allows you to pick the best person for the corse that you are on, and allows you to unlock new player as you pass more levels! Both of my kids love to play this game! Only problem is I wish I would have got two, one for each kid! Well if you like the TV show, you will love this game!

    Super Item! Fantastic value for my money!!

    HA HA HA this is all I heard from my 7 year old daughter as she played this game. The laughter let me know that she was enjoying this game. We had hoped this game would mimic the TV show and it did!!Playing is like being there because you get all in ijt as if you were on the TV. The graphics are so realistic.

    great product

    great game. everything was exactly like ad said. came in a timely manner. daughter has a little bit of a hard time with it. she is 9 years old though. so it might be a game better for someone a little older. we also limit her time. so she hasn't had a ton of time to learn it.
