I have set up 6 of these on a dahua NVR as well as a few other cameras. The sound that it can pick up is amazing. The picture quality is also amazing even in low lighting at night and can be switched to remain in color at night. As far as recording space dahua has come up with 265 + compression which can take up almost 50 percent less space on the hard drive. Which is great when the recorder only has 12 tb or less and you have many high mega pixel camerasI have set up 6 of these on a dahua NVR as well as a few other cameras. Wish I thought it was authentic
After making this purchase I tried looking the model up on Dahua's website to download a full manual. They don't list this model and none of the cameras I found even look like it. A simple search of the model lead to a few discussion boards that made it sound like a "wannabe" Dahua and the locked firmware is concerning. At the moment I am using it without an Internet connection and the camera is working very well so yes I think it's a good value and it seems to be good quality. Good quality IP camera
This is a good quality IP camera. Sturdy metal housing, good image quality, even at night with the IR. It's an OEM item so it's just a camera, mount, an RJ-45 connection waterproof thing, and some screws in the box. There is no manual or anything else included so you need to have some technical ability to set this up. The on-board software can be used to configure the camera but not view the video, unless you use IE and install some ActiveX plugin (I use Linux so didn't even try). Great For Monitoring front house!
I replace an amcrest 4mp cam with this baby and the picture quality is very good and noise free, compare to the amcrest pro cam. I will be adding another to backyard as the amcrest just doesn't provide good night vision to monitor backyard. I highly recommend it to anyone else.

Very good IP cam, night view isn't half bad compare to a Dahua Starlight.
Same product would have cost 2-3x, it works for me even tho I can't upgrade firmware, but that is the trade off I have to live with.
