A good PS2 port…
I saw this game on a Neo Geo and thought it was great. I found out that it was ported to the PS2 and the price was reasonable so i purchased it. I wasn’t disappointed as the speed of the game and graphics are terrific, it compares favorably with the Street Fighter, Mortal Combat and Virtua Fighter games in my collection. Still getting use to all the styles and special moves of the game but it has tons of characters and moves so it will take some time. Not as robust as either the coin op or Neo Geo but actually pretty great anyway.I saw this game on a Neo Geo and thought it was great. An outstanding KOF game that is amongst the BEST in the entire series
When I saw this game used at a local video game store, I had to pick it up. Easily put, King of Fighters XI is GREAT. This is my favorite King of Fighters game (that I've played) to date. The graphics are top notch and far better than its predecessors on the Playstation 2, featuring good detail, vibrant color and solid animation. It is also brings back the great feature that we first saw in 2003 where you are able to tag team swap players, instead of just selecting three as a team match up. Think Marvel vs Capcom 2 style. You pick three fighters, and if one is getting beat down, you can tag out for another of your picks! After playing with this feature, any KOF fighter without it almost feels like its missing something. In XI there is also a cool "challenge" mode that unlocks most of the ... Characters in the KOF games actually have personality, they comment after wins, have in game mannerisms and just feel more like actual "characters" than other fighters. I highly recommend checking out this series if you haven't yet, and 2003 is a great one to have on hand.

Having been a KoF fan for a long time, I was eagerly anticipating the games release but did not want to import it. King of Fighters XI is everything its predecessors were and more. The larger-than-life roster includes many popular characters, a few new faces, and a handful of old favorites returned. Arcade, Team, Single, Endless and Challenge Mode will keep the game interesting when you aren't going at it head-to-head with a friend. And for those who are obsessively picky about what their ... This game is a very excellent game, fantastic is what I call it, what I like about this game is that some people that I did not even know was some people that I like to play with on this game, some examples would be, Elizabeth, Duo lon, Vanessa, etc. What I love about this game is the three on three battles they have that are classic, the classic one on one, and the new three on three battles where you can chose a leader, have a leader move, super cancel and dream cancels, and being able to tag on of your group members in. What I disliked about the game is the bosses, especially Magaki, some of the characters that I wanted to play with was not on this game, and the main reason is that Ash is the main character on this game, in my opinion, Kyo should be the leader in every game, or Terry, ...
