Extreme Networks DWDM-SFP10G-42.14-40-I compatible optical transceiver is an industrial dual fiber 10.3Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP+ DWDM module for use in 10GBASE Ethernet. SFP+ DWDM4214-ER-I provides 10Gb/s throughput up to 40km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using 1542.14nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3 10GBASE-DWDM and SFI standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP+ transceiver features highly reliable DWDM EML transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 10 Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Extreme Networks DWDM-SFP10G-42.14-40-I transceivers.
