He was born November 22, 1928, in Long Beach, CA. to Ethel Luella Woolsey and Henry George Spackman Hall. Brothers were Donald Woolsey Hall (Karen), LeRoy Woolsey Hall (Irene John) and Richard Woolsey Hall. He served in the Korean War, on the front lines for six months and had many life saving miracles. It was said he had 9 lives. He then served a mission in the Hopi-Zuni Indian Mission. After, he married Helen Rose John on August 8, 1957, in the SLC Temple. They had 4 daughters, Thella, Julienne, Lorraine (Deb) Crowfoot, Marilita (Ed) Macias. He has 10 grandchildren. He served in many positions in the LDS church, going weekly to the Temple and the Bishop's storehouse. He loved to serve his fellowmen. He loved to invent things, including the cement skiis, and an air cooler for the air force. He enjoyed doing cement work all over SLC, He worked at Hill Air Force Base as a civil servant for 22 years where he repaired and packed parachutes for the Air Force pilots.
Viewing will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 9:45 AM at McKay Ward, 1623 South, 500 East. Funeral to follow at 11AM. Graveside services will be held following the Funeral at Wasatch Lawn Memorial, 3401 Highland Drive, SLC, Utah.
