Blooming Habits:
Diurnal yellow flower, up to 2.5 inches in diameter (6 cm); fruits of miscellaneous shapes or colors, these being the base of the descriptions of the synonymous species; one to 5 large seeds per fruit; each up to 0.4 inch in diameter (1 cm)
