The First UK printing published by Blackwell, Oxford in 1915. Softcover with brown stiff card printed covers . The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition. The covers are only very slightly edge-worn and have one or two light spots. Internally very clean with only a hint of toning to the page edges and the lightest of spotting in a few places. The book is remarkably clean for its age. Free from inscriptions and bookplates. Original stitching still present. The Author's scarce first book of which 500 were printed and 200 were subsequently pulped by the printers in the 1920s. The book is dedicated (amongst others) to Siegfried Sassoon. As nice as copy as you are likely to find. Protected in a loose archival Mylar cover. Collectible
