A: AnswerHi Allen, Thank you for your question around Sony’s INZONE M9 monitor. No, it does not have built-in cooling fan. The ventilation openings in the LCD Monitor are necessary to ensure reliable operation of the LCD Monitor and to protect it from overheating. When installing the monitor against a wall or enclosed area, allow adequate space around the LCD Monitor to ensure proper air circulation. As a general guideline, there should be a clearance of at least 11 7/8 inches (30 cm) above the LCD Monitor and 4 inches (10 cm) on each side. If mounted on the wall, allow at least 4 inches (10 cm) of clearance at the bottom of the screen. Note: • Do not block or cover the ventilation openings with cloth or other materials. • Never place the LCD Monitor in a confined space, such as a bookcase or built-in cabinet, unless proper ventilation is provided. If you set the Local dimming to Low or Off, this may cause the whole screen to look washed out. You may also try turning off Auto picture mode to resolve the issue. To ensure the best picture quality, please make sure all devices are up-to-date on software and HDMI settings are set to the highest quality output from your gaming system. Picture quality being subjective you may like a setting that someone else doesn't so please use the picture mode on the M90 menu screen to find the quality that best suits your needs. You may also adjust picture quality in the picture Adjustment menu area as well. The INZONE M9’s Preset picture modes are designed to optimize picture quality for specific use cases. Standard, FPS and Cinema preset modes are tuned for overall balanced performance, optimized for FPS games, and for enjoying cinematic content like streaming movies or videos, respectively. For more customized performance, we recommend using Game 1 or Game 2 and turning off HDR to ensure your customized settings are not overridden. If Eco mode is on, the menu items are grayed out. • When the input signal is HDR: Only the Aspect ratio can be set. Inzone m9 review for gamers on pc and ps5
Superior quality overall. Great color great brightness. Sometimes if there is a lot of dark on the screen you get a halo around white if there is any. But will leave you ready for a ps5 pro. A monitor you will use for years. Works amazing on pc too.

Exactly what I needed
Was looking for a gaming monitor that also included a thunderbolt connection so that I could connect to my macbook air. This monitor allows me to game using my ps5 and do work on my air without using a usb c to hdmi adaptor. Very convenient while looking awesome. 4K gaming never looked better and even though the built in speakers don't sound all that great, it's something until I get something better in the future. Everything I could ask for. The one thing I didn't like is the goofy-looking stand that it came with but I have it mounted on my desk using a monitor arm so that takes care of that issue. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it.

GREAT 4K MONITOR FOR THE PS5!
I saw the mix reviews and it’s not as bad as people are saying. If you have a PS5 (haven’t tried another console yet) this is the best monitor for the PS5! Audio isn’t great but having audio on a monitor is always a plus! If you do get this make sure you have a PC to update the monitor! These updates has fixed bugs and improved the monitor. No regrets! If you got a PS5 go get this monitor!
