Love the stove, but one big flaw
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had this a little over 2 weeks and really like the way the gas stovetop and electric convection oven perform. However, last week the ThinQ app told me that the oven needed cleaning. I had already wiped it down after we had used it, but thought I would try the easy clean feature. LG provides a squirt bottle and nylon pad for this. After running the EZ clean program, I used distilled water and the supplied pad (as directed in the user guide) to clean what appeared to be a dried spot on the bottom of the oven. It did not come off immediately so I rubbed it about 20 seconds, and was horrified that the surface is now permanently scratched. The spot I saw actually was a slight bubble/defect in the oven coating - minor, but certainly less noticeble than the new 1-inch diameter scar I just made. I had studied for two weeks before deciding on LG, and I thoroughly read the user manual, once before getting the stove, and once after it arrived. I am disappointed in an appliance in this price range, when treated exactly as the manufacturer directs, can be damaged this easily. We take care of our appliances because we pick the best we can afford and want them to last. It may seem petty to want to return a stove with this "minor" defect, but I must confess that I continue to feel irritation every time I open the oven. We love all our other LG appliances, and will live with the annoyance on this one since the window for return has passed anyway.

Love this range!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't believe how nice this range is and how great using it is. We had an electric range for years and when redoing the kitchen, chose this range. We chose to have BB install and it went flawlessly. Love the burners and especially love the convection oven. Burners are quick start and heat up quickly. The power burner heats up a large pot of water very fast. The oven heats up quickly and the Temp seems accurate. The range is beautiful, the griddle works well (we've used it for bacon and veggies) and it is a lovely addition to our kitchen. Recommend it highly.

Great design, some function quirks
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I am happy with this powerful duel fuel range. Good LG quality, great aesthetics but quite expensive and on the edge of competing with luxury brands. One of the largest oven sizes in this standard size unit. However, some quirks as with other Korean designed appliances - odd electronic beeps and audible queues. A sensitive touch pad makes settings time and temp somewhat frustrating.

Totally Awesome
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love to cook and bake and I have wanted a dual fuel range ever since they first came out but boy, am I glad I waited until LG came out with this model. It has everything you need and more. The electric oven heats up lightning fast, the four gas burners are perfect for everything from quick-to-boil to simmer. The griddle is wonderful and perfect for grilling sandwiches, cooking eggs and pancakes. The oven is HUGE and cooks and bakes better than any oven I've ever owned or used. You cannot go wrong with this appliance. It's a rock star!

Great oven
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dual fuel oven makes it a pleasure to cook. When the oven temp is reached, it plays a pleasant tune. Same when the Timer is done. The griddle is a nice feature. WiFi feature is great too.

Great stove; Works well!
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had the stove in service for 6 months now, Had one glitch with power to the oven. LG responded quickly, with courtesy and the problem was solved. I think it was because of my 40 amp circuit breaker, but they absorbed the blame. Dual Fuel is a great option.

Dual fuel range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Power cord did not come with the range. The installer used the cord from my old range. One burner still is difficult to light and occasionally I use a match.

Q: QuestionIs the bottom drawer a warming drawer?
Asked by jen.
- A:Answer On the unit that I purchased, it is not a warming drawer. It is a slide out pan holder. The oven does have a warming setting.

Q: QuestionDoes this oven have a cleaning mode using high heat with a door locking mechanism?
Asked by PMPolito.
- A:Answer Yes it does. It has both cleaning methods. It has easy clean where you can spray the inside with water and it heats for a short time at a lower heat and you wipe it out once the oven has cooled. Even though I stay on top of keeping my oven clean, I have not found this method to be very useful. It just does not get hot enough to clean the grease splatters. The second method is the true self clean that takes a few hours at high heat with the door locked tight. I wipe it out really well after it cools and the oven is back to new.

Q: QuestionIs the stainless finish the common stainless finish, or is it "textured stainless"?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Regrettably, we are not clear what you are referring to as a "common stainless Steel finish" or a "textured Stainless". The Stainless Steel finish on the LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Slide-In Dual Fuel Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean® - Stainless Steel, Model # LSD4913ST has a brushed semi-gloss appearance with a visible "grain". It is type 304 Stainless Steel...^IFV

Q: QuestionI'm considering replacing my maintenance-nightmare Dacor Dual-Fuel range with this LG model. One of the more minor issues I've had with the Dacor is that the "low" flame is still way too high for low simmering. Does this LG have a truly "low" flame?
Asked by Freckles.
- A:Answer The LG has a simmer burner that has a low flame. I use it all of the time for soups and just keeping things warm while I am finishing other things for a meal and love it. However I don’t think you could put something like a thicker sauce on for hours and walk away.

Q: QuestionDoes this need a vent hood or can it be down vented?
Asked by Belladonna.
- A:Answer Air openings are located at the rear of the cooktop, at the top and bottom of the oven door, and at the bottom of the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Slide-In Smart Dual-Fuel Electric Range with ProBake Convection Oven and Wi-Fi in Stainless Steel, Model # LSD4913ST through which it vents. Most residential building codes do not require a range hood above a stove or cook top, but you’d be wise to ensure your locale is not the exception. Range hoods are designed to collect airborne grease, moisture and cooking odors.
