Excellent replacement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The range died day after Thanksgiving. Turns out it was 10 yrs old anyway. . . For a last minute purchase this black stainless steel electric range has not disappointed. The oven offers convection and standard baking options, we use both: cookies, cakes, poultry, fish all come out perfect. This range has the very cool purple interior in the oven, it's designed to ease with cleaning. I haven't had the pleasure of performing that task yet. It comes with 3 racks and has 7 levels for rack placement. The steel surfaces are easy to clean. The glass top is easy enough to clean. So far everything that's spilled on to the surface and has dried on or cooked on or even burned on (for that matter), has come clean. The unit comes with a sprayer for cleaning the inside of the oven, and a non-scratch scrubber with a sample of the preferred cleaner for the glass top: nice bonuses if you have no idea what to use to clean it. I'm thus far impressed with the LG product We also ordered the microwave in this collection.

Love our new range!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed a new range and wanted a slide in. We liked the simple elegant looks of this LG smooth top including location of knobs which are fairly heavy, not light and plastic feeling. We are seniors and don’t have small children in the house which might be a concern for those that do. You have to push in and turn the knobs to turn stove top on which families with small children may not like. The oven door is more substantial than others we looked at. ADVICE: Keep the Manuel nearby and follow all the instructions exactly as to how to clean, use the stove top and how to use oven racks when baking. I do clean the stove top daily and it looks as good as new.

reliable for us, cooks well, easy clean
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we purchased this over a year ago, its not let us down yet, the temperature works well, it bakes well, the hob can take a little longer than wanted to boil water, you get used to it, controls are easy to use. The HOB is easily cleanable for baked on spills using the weiman heavy duty glass cooktop cleaner, and a green scotchbrite, and it does not mark the glass, just cleans it. Weiman also produce a pump spray cleaner bottle variety which is good for general every day use. Countdown timer is a good addition so you can leave the room and listen out for it it is loud enough. self cleaning seems to be reasonable. Personally I would not buy a large item this without protection, i went for the 5 yr geek squad.

It looks great in my kitchen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a very nice looking range. I haven't baked in it yet except for a couple of pizzas & they cooked perfect. The front where the knobs are stick out a tiny bit more then my prior range so I actually stopped using the kitchen cabinet drawer closest to the range. Caution:It is extremely easy to lean against the knobs & turn them on accidentally. It's happened 4 times to me so you really need to watch that with this range. There is a black seal on 3 sides of the glass cooking top but not on the front so anything can go down into the electrical area on the front of this range as you cook. I don't understand why they didn't put the seal there too.

Beautiful and functional
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This range is absolutely beautiful. It looks quite elegant for a stove! The oven's blue color is nice too. The cook top has these raised impressions, which make it very durable and less likely to scratch. The cooking elements are roomy and plenty with plenty of options. Don't lean on the knobs, you could accidentally turn the stove on. A major plus for LG: the oven vents at the top back versus the front of the range, so you are not getting "baked" while you are baking! This range connects to the ThinQ app. I do not like range hoods, so I paired the range with the LG extend vent microwave venting out of the house and the combo is perfect!

Love it!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, and the oven is so easy to clean, As with all induction cooktops, a bit of effort Is made to keep the stove looking clean, but it’s so much easier than my last [white] top. So far, I’m loving this oven and stove, and it looks great!

The right range of quality, features, and value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Remodeled the kitchen, but had no desire to break the bank on the range. This highly rated model is living up to expectations. Installation was smooth and easy. The metal trim around the cook top makes a good transition between range and counter. The front facing controls are solid and easy to use. We like the ability to lock out the controls and the oven for kid safety. Another safety feature is that the door remains cool while baking. The huge oven heats quickly (350° in about 7 minutes) and bakes evenly. The large window and bright light makes it easy to see inside. We’ve not had it long enough to test the cleaning feature.

Looks beautiful as well as functional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It exactly what I had pictured. It functions well & I love the convection part. The top is a little harder to clean then my last one, because of metal on the sides of the top. The smoothe surface on top of stove is a little harder to keep shiny.

Q: QuestionHow do you clean the vent area at the back of the top of the range? tt has a grill over it, and I'm not sure how to get in there to clean it.
Asked by Joyce.
- A:Answer You must pull the range out from the wall. The vent is affixed to the range by 4-6 screws. Remove all of them and you can remove the vent. It looks to me as if this thing was designed to be removable and someone came along and said, out of an abundance of caution, that it needed to be fixed in place, notwithstanding that it'd be a crumb-trap that ants would cherish. You and modify it to make it removable as needed. Here's how: Once vent is removed, you will see a piece of metal that goes from one side of the range to the other (it's about 1" wide, 30" long), it helps anchor the vent. It's attached in the middle by just one screw. Take it off, save it if you think you'll ever need to "permanently" fix the vent to the range. Put 2-4 of the smaller screws back into the rear of the vent -- easier to store them there than anywhere else. That'll leave you with two screws designed to hold the corners of the vent to the range. You can't just put them back in the holes, they'll keep the vent from fully seating. So --if you think you'll ever need them again, save 'em. Or snip off the ends of the circumferential eyelets on the vent into which they fit... so the vent can slide past them when they are partially screwed into the range housing. Presto, the whole thing snaps in and out, no problem.

Q: QuestionDoes this range have side lips on each side to prevent things from dropping down between the range and whatever is next to it?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This slide in is just a glorified free standing range. Has no lip to sit over counter as slide ins of the past had. Might as well by a free standing.
