OK pointing device, Better choices exist today
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.works as a reliable pointing device. that's about it. Scroll ring is erratic at best and frustrating the rest of the time. no physical middle mouse button. Clicking both the left and right buttons to simulate middle mouse is problematic and leaves the user frustrated. At the time I started purchasing trackballs instead of mouse pointing device, I had developed carpel tunnel in my right arm and wrist and fingers and this was one of the better choices out there at that time. Now I would not recommend this as there are much better options in the marketplace.

As good as I can find.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very nice piece of ergonomic equipment. As I only use the larger Kensington trackball for my desktop, I find that the scrolling action leaves a lot to be desired. But, it serves very will and is comfortable for a left handed person.

Great for lefties
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been using a trackball mouse for years and wanted to update to a wireless. This is the only company I found making one useable for left-handed people. Easy set-up, no problems. Even included Energizer batteries and not some off-brand foreign kind. Price was very reasonable.

Best one yet
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've used trackballs exclusively since they were invented. This is the best one yet. Who knew wireless was so good? Everyone but me apparently. Love it.

Not your typical trackball mouse
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse if you absolutely HATE accidental right clicks. Buttos are on the sides so require pink or ring finger for a right click...Love the touch scroll instead of a wheel. Only problem is if you have big hands its a little on the smaller end so not the most ergonomical mouse but left clicks with thumb is awesome but scrolling requires you to lift your hand since the scrolling is done on a touch area around the trackball and, unless its just me, requires fingertip control. Hard to explain on here but its not as beefy as a microsoft or logiteck trackball mouse. Perfect for average hand peope but takes a lot of getting used but once you do its very functional.

Great for a lefty
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse for a lefty. I also liked the option to have bluetooth since the older modtl was only usb-c.

Best mouse ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t understand why more people don’t use these kinds of “mouses/mice”? If you have ergonomic issues, this is truly the best choice. I would recommend this for anyone - it’s so much easier to use than a regular mouse.

Q: QuestionI have a large hand. Reviews suggest that this mouse is good for small hand. Which trackball, with finger, not thumb, control, would be better for a large hand?
Asked by catherine.
- A:Answer For larger hands, I always prefer the Logitech TrackMan Optical. It uses finger control of the ball instead of the side-ball for the thumb. I find that I have better control with fingers on the ball than thumb. Bought my first one (wired) in 1996 and it still works perfectly after all those years of almost daily use in CAD applications.

Q: QuestionI don't see a scroll wheel. What part performs this function?
Asked by cinnamon.
- A:Answer The scroll wheel function is handled by sliding your finger up or down on either side of the collar surrounding the ball. In the photo the collar looks silverish on the one i have its black and slippery. occasionally it requires you to slid your fingers on both sides at the same time to make it work.

Q: QuestionIf this isn't the picture of what's really for sale, what does the Kensington trackball mouse really look like?
Asked by Bowhunter9.
- A:Answer the picture i saw looks kinda like the trackball mouse. the photo just makes it look taller than is is for some reason it's a decent mouse for someone with smallish hands. Not quite so much if you have large hands as i do. it works good but i have to shift my grip frequently to click on the buttons. That could be partially from the old trackball mouse i had that was fat in the back and skinny in front. This one is skinny in the back and fatter in front.

Q: QuestionIs this smaller than the MX ERGO? I bought the MX ERGO and I liked it but it caused me pain as my hand is small and had to return it, I would like to know if this mouse is smaller.
Asked by Nadia.
- A:Answer It's 4" long, about 1 1/2 " high, the back is 2" wide and the front where the ball is, is 3" wide. I have a small hand, and it is small enough for me.
