You are in no way whatsoever forced to have it or forced to have said account to get the tv up and running, it just makes it more convenient. - A: AnswerAs far as communication with other equipment, i found if you turn off "cec" on the other devices, it should alleviate your issue. Good luck. This info is from my Denon AVR: CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) also called HDMI Control, is a feature on most AVRs that allows for one button control of supported system functions. This feature may also be available on other CEC supported devices such as TVs or projectors. CEC can control power on/off functions, volume control and source switching by sending a command over the connected HDMI cables.

Great picture! Perfect for Gaming
Beautiful, clear picture. I personally love to watch it in theater picture mode but there are lots of options to choose from. My games look incredible and there is no lag whatsoever. I have since optimized my tv for game settings for my PS5 so the picture is even better than the photo. Movies and tv shows look great too. The blacks look nice and there is good contrast. I really couldn’t be happier! I wanted a nice tv without breaking the bank and this was perfect. The one thing is that the Best Buy sellers recommended a sound system since this tv isn’t known for having great sound. I haven’t noticed it too much because I am usually using my razor headphones. But I just thought I should mention it! My brother and dad and have since bought one of these TVs after seeing mine

Very happy with Hisense u8k
Great tv! Colors and local dimming make the image quality amazing. Love playing video games and watching 4k movies on it. 120 hz vrr gaming is nice. Great for the price versus the competitors. More bang for your buck! Great sound, impressive built in speakers too!

Can't beat the features at this price. Truly amazi
Superb picture quality and build. The capabilities of this unit at its price point is unbearable. Two weeks in and we've been turning off the lights to watch movies at night and the black levels are phenomenal and blooming is very controlled. To the average user this is almost OLED blacks but to the nit nerds it will still be an amazing comparison. No lag for gaming, smooth motion enhancement with true 120hz native panel and 144hz gaming capable. Sports looks very good (not amazing) and I'm looking forward to the NFL season. And the sound...5 speaks in a 2.1.2 configuration that provides excellent sound for something other than a sound bar. We turn the subwoofer off unless watching movies though.
