- A: AnswerHey there, We can absolutely understand how unpleasant that new oven smell is. The smoke or odor should dissipate after the first few uses. If you want to get rid of the odor quicker, then consider the following tips: Self Clean Oven: We recommend running the Self Clean cycle for a minimum of 3 hours. Important: The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the Self Clean cycle of any oven. We recommend birds be moved to another, well-ventilated room when running the Self Clean cycle. Steam Clean or Standard Clean Oven: We recommend running the oven on Bake at 500 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour and then running the Hi Broil for 45 minutes. We hope this is helpful. - A: AnswerYes there is a digital keypad for oven temps and other baking options. I’ve had this stove since March (about 7 months) and I have very few complaints about it. I struggle with eye problems so I would have liked a bigger and brighter control pad. I have never had the control pad lock up or freeze. The oven is controlled by a keypad, but the oven light is a knob. I am a gourmet cook and cook nearly every night from scratch. What I like most about the stove is the cooktop that has good, even heat for simmering sauces. I was very skeptical about the stove, but I don’t regret my purchase. I have not connected to my phone to enable special features. Not sure if I want to be bothered by another feature that may become an annoying reminder.

- A: AnswerThe power boil burner is the best burner on the stove. This relates to size adaptability, power, and more variability of power. I use the small size for simmering butter on low cause it’s quick. It depends upon what I’m making for dinner as to which burner I use. If I have to boil something like pasta noodles, then I use the power boil and simmer the sauce on the left front burner (which has slightly less power). I prefer to use the power boil burner for sautéing because it seems to have more adjustability in the amount of heat for all 3 sizes of the burner. But when sautéing, lean toward the lower end of power, slightly less than a receipt requires because of the power this burner has can be too much. If I am using a 12” pan then I use the power burner because it is larger. I am a gourmet cook though. Mostly use “Cook’s Illustrated” recipes. Love this stove.

The approximate temperature range is the following: Lo 140 - 170° F; Medium (mid position on the knob) 170 - 210° F; Hi 215 - 250° F. We hope this helps. Overall, I am very pleased
I have been using my new Cafe' range for almost six weeks thus far and am very pleased. The reason for only 4 stars is the lack of instructions on using the Power Boil burner. (And contrary to GE's answer to my question about it, detailed instructions are not on page 8, or elsewhere, in the self-printed manual.) Also, it is not made clear that to access the ability to Air Fry, one must connect via WiFi for an update for that feature. Once I figured that out, I have found the Air Fry feature works well. I was fortunate to find a very good sale on this range; otherwise, I probably would not have bought such an expensive range. GE's "Guaranteed to Fit" offers to reimburse up to $300 for any modifications needed to make it fit. It was necessary to have my solid surface countertop modified. I have sent in my paperwork, but so far I have heard nothing from GE after almost six weeks.

This LG Range is the best of the best!
Happy is an understatement about how much we are enjoying this LG Studio range, paired with the LG Studio matte white fridge makes our kitchen look so trendy and we get tons of compliments. Did I mention this range features an air fryer function that true quality!

Beautiful and Useful
Love my new oven. Heats evenly and has many settings which is easy to use. Elements on top work great and have had no issues so far. Only drawback is my belly always hits the touch screen but it's really not a big deal. I enjoy that it connects to my phone also. Its such an elegant looking piece!
