Nice Phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is a game changer. Was instantly thankful for upgrading. The new phone works so much better with Apple CarPlay than my 7 plus. After getting a handle on not having a home screen button, use of the phone fairly easy. Be aware that all functions requiring a home button are different. I like the look and functionality of the messaging keyboard and the mic positioning is so convenient. I use it all the time. The Face ID is cool to.

iPhone XS Max
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had an iPhone 6 Plus for 4 and a half years and I've been very happy with it. I checked out the new phones and saw that the XS Max was the same size as my 6 Plus but the whole screen was used. So I purchased it. It works a little different than the plus (no home button, shuts off differently, among a few things), but I've gotten used to the differences and I actually prefer them. I love the Face recognition feature, and I love swiping up to get out of an app. It's a lot faster than the Plus and Siri is easier to use. I haven't had any problems charging it because I charge it wirelessly. I love that feature. Apple products are great because I can back them up to my computer and when I get a new product just restore it from the backup and everything is there. My games are where I left off, all of my texts are there. It's great. The only downside is it's a little heavier but that's nothing. So all in all, I'm really glad I bought this phone.

Awesome Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is by far the best phone I’ve had. I used to use the Samsung Galaxy S9+. I had all the Galaxy phones. I tried Apple a while ago but went back to Android. Now I’m back on Apple and love it. The interface is so easy to use. Everything about the phone is amazing too.

iPhone XS Max is the best yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my wife and myself the Gold iPhone XS Max with 512GB. They were expensive, but you usually get what you pay for ... not just a brand. Great camera and many other features, such as a larger screen, that make it the best. I highly recommend this one over all the others models. We put them in clear cases to see the beauty of the iPhone.

Best overall phone on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The iPhone XS Max combines a big OLED screen, great speakers, great cameras, great battery life, and blazing fast speed into the best user experience on a smartphone. For the record...I also own the Galaxy Note 9 as my business phone and it’s a great phone too with all the things I just listed for the iPhone. Where the iPhone stands out is software and Apple will support this phone with software updates for 5 years...the Note 9 is a 2018 phone running 2017 Android software and Samsung gives software updates for 3 years. I’ll list some pros and cons and also what the tech media won’t tell you. Pros: - battery life is all day - upgraded speakers get real loud - Face ID is faster - fast and smooth - Siri has been given shortcuts - upgraded cameras are just as good as Samsung cameras now and the front camera is better than the Note 9 front camera Cons: - expensive - slow speed charger - no headphone jack - it’s made of glass on the front and back. A case is almost mandatory especially if you are clumsy Bottom line...the iPhone and Galaxy phones are the best phones on the market right now. The iPhone is a step ahead because iOS gets frequent updates and starting with iOS 12 Apple actually sped up old iPhones and iPads which will allow users to keep their devices longer. An iPhone is now like a laptop and something you only need to upgrade once it breaks. The iPhone is also the ONLY smartphone that can stream all video apps in full screen. Android doesn’t have full screen built into the OS so video apps like HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, STARZ, Encore, and EPIC are all tiny on the Note 9...those apps are all full screen on the iPhone. Food for thought.

iPhone XS Max
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get a new iPhone every 2 years. I never get those so-called mid new releases. I laughed at the iPhone X when it came out and I seen it. This XS Max isn’t that. Trust me! This is why I only upgrade, every 2 years only! I told myself, if they don’t make any extreme changes, that I would be keeping my 7 Plus. I was the first to have the iPhone XS Max. Best Buy was giving them out at 8 AM. Before the cellphone stores. It’s a refreshing change. I’m just wondering, what took them so long? It’s extremely expensive though. Lots of improvements! Great phone. Apple has always been good at taking what’s out there and making it better!

Q: QuestionWill Best Buy sell the Unlocked Sim-free iPhone Xs Max in stores?
Asked by BadPrinter.

Q: QuestionThis mobile is factory lock mobile or factory unlock mobile
Asked by Prakash.
This question was asked about the related product: Apple - iPhone XS Max 256GB
- A:Answer This model will lock to the first carrier SIM that you put in. For example, if you put an AT&T Sim in at first, then it will lock to AT&T. If you want to unlock the phone, then you will need to pay off your AT&T contract, and they will unlock it. If you buy the phone out right from Best Buy, you still have to call the carrier who it is locked to, to have them unlock it. The phone has no idea whether it was purchased on a contract or it was purchased out right. Therefore it always locks, and it is up to you to contact your carrier to have it unlocked.

Q: QuestionI already have a sims card in my old phone with verizon. would I still pay the $40?
Asked by jj.
- A:Answer I have had many iPhones with Verizon for years, the iPhone 4s, 5, 6 Plus, and now the 512GB Xs Max. When you upgrade with an existing account and eligible device, whether with Verizon or BestBuy, you simply upgrade. With BestBuy, you do get a new SIM card, but cost for it should be waived (at least that’s happened with me.) With Verizon, you get a device with a new SIM card and your account is switched to it via a simple phone call (at least that’s what happened with my online upgrades.) There’s a $40 upgrade fee if you do it at a Verizon store or BestBuy; $20 if you upgrade at Verizon online with your account. Keep in mind, you are paying taxes when you purchase at a retail store other than Verizon. Taxes are waived when ordering directly with Verizon (at least online, in my experience.) For instance, there was a sale at BestBuy for a 512GB iPhone Xs Max for $1,249 ($200 off $1,449) which is the same price as a 256GB model. I paid $1,249 plus $133 in taxes, but still got a deal at $67 off the Verizon’s $1,449 price (I was able to get Verizon to remove the $40 upgrade fee due to a botched order with a previous device...) But, even with the full upgrade price (and taxes), it’s still a good deal for a maxed out Xs Max for the price of one with half the memory storage...

Q: QuestionCan you trade in two Verizon phones at one time for an upgrade on the iPhone XS? I have a iPhone 7plus and a Galaxy S6 that’s been turned off and out of service.
Asked by Mysterious.
This question was asked about the related product: Apple - iPhone XS Max 256GB (Verizon)
- A:Answer Yes you can trade more than one in. But verizon’s Trade program does not credit you all instantly. It’s a credit spread over 24 months.
