B8 FWD -> AWD conversion help

Hello boy and girls,

I retrofit my audi from FWD to quattro, but have some electrical problems

1. on cluster not show N and 6th gear only other
on original gearbox was only one sensor on top of gear box, in this new is one more on the side I google and it will by neutral position sensor
Can somebody help me what plug can I buy and wiring from sensor to some control unit, (what unit, may by it goes to engine unit or another and then witch PIN)

2. problem with ABS/ESP
I put there new abs unit from car which was gear box. ABS is not working, I cant code it, dont knot why. If I put there my old abs from FWD it is not working lot of systems

If somebody could help please write

The new transmission cannot be a type 0B1 because that's a FWD transmission. Did you mean type 0B2? And code WWO? I find that unlikely.
That the original was a type 0B1 code KXP, sure, that's completely reasonable.

From the ABS control module:
Control Module - Incorrect Chassis (VIN) Number
You'll need to look into what it takes to address that.

I'd start with direct and clear things:
03182 - Clutch Position Sensor (G476), 007 - Short to Ground
and it's coming from the J540 EPB control module.

The G476 has a 6-pin plug:
1 - brown to ground
2 - green/gray to J623 T94/63
3 - blue/gray to J623 T94/42
4 - red/brown to term 15 fuse
5 - violet/gray to J540 T30a/25
6 - red/black to term 30 fuse

So I'd guess pretty safely you have an issue with the violet/gray wire that runs from G476 pin 5 to J540 pin 25. The DTC says it's short to ground.

You also have a failure of the LIN bus that connects the G395 and G238 back to the J519. That should be pretty simple to correct as well.

But I remeber that I retrofit ADS and put some LIN BUS to unit like on picture, there were some wire on PIN that I put out and put there only from ADS, may be if I put them together this error will disappeared

Yeah, you might want to understand that for a LIN bus line, all the devices share the same wire. You need to splice the new device into the existing LIN line, not just disconnect the original LIN bus members.

As for the trans, that's just some part number stamped on some component housing piece. There's no way you have an 0B1 with quattro since it doesn't exist. The quattro version is 0B2.

That pic is not the correct identification information, as noted in the links I posted. You need to look at the top of the bell housing for the correct type and code, and possibly also printed on the underside. You can see there's imprinting on the top of the bell housing in the pics in that eBay link, but the pics are too bad to actually make anything out. I did find one example where an apparently valid transmission code was printed at that location, but there's zero way WWO is an 0B1 or 0B2 trans code, at least from any B8.0. Leave it to Audi to make something that should be stupid simple so uselessly complex. No such issue with a ZF product. Clearly marked, where it can be easily seen installed.

The T16B plug on the J519. Pin 4 is a LIN bus to a variety of clients: the E592 drive select switch, the J530 HomeLink transmitter, the G395 refrigerant pressure switch, the G238 air quality sensor, and the J800 seat ventilation. I'm guessing from the lack of errors, you don't have HomeLink or seat ventilation.

If you have the new ADS wire spliced to the original violet wire on pin 4 and clear DTCs, can you now read the G395 refrigerant pressure value in measuring blocks for the climate control system (J255, address 08)? Ie, is it only ADS that seems to error when everyone is connected as they are supposed to? Not sure what the problem would be; the correct configuration is the new wire spliced to the existing wire to create a single bus line of the master (J519) and all clients (E592, G395, G238). Not that it'll matter in the immediate season, but your A/C isn't going to work with the G395 disconnected.
