Angharad and Chris got married on 14th April 2014 at The Great House in Laleston.The Great House Hotel is a beautiful grade II* listed building is a luxury 3 star hotel in Bridgend and wedding venue. Originating from around 1550, the hotel is believed to have been a gift from HRH Queen Elizabeth 1 to Robert Stanley, Earl of Leicester who used it as a hunting lodge. The hotel is located in the pretty conservation village of Laleston, Bridgend, and is now one of the leading hotels in Bridgend. Located just 10 minutes from the seaside town of Porthcawl and 25 minutes equidistant between Cardiff and Swansea.
This was a very relaxed and chilled out wedding. The ceremony was held in the hotel and included Angharad and Chris’s dog which was very well behaved. After some nice relaxed shots around the hotel grounds we headed off to Merthyr Mawr to get some nice shots of the happy couple at the dipping bridge. Here are a selection of images from their day.
