The game worked fine, but the activation key had already been used to register the game online. That made it impossible for me to register it myself, which was a deal-breaker, and I had to return the game.

I know it is a good game because I played it with a friend before, but did not get to play this one it's code key was invalid and I do not know how to get a valid one
This is not the US version of the game, hence the unusual "Best Seller SERIES" packaging pictured. It is supposed to work fine on the US battle.net, but buyer beware. I contacted Blizzard support (north america) and they had never heard of this release of the game and cautioned it may not have a valid cd-key. 1 star for the seller being dishonest and failing to disclose that this is an EU version of the game that may have issues.
A brilliant expansion to an already classic game. I don't know what to say. I bought this recently to relive my childhood but, like a good book, going back to it now is yielding a whole different experience. Something about the depth of strategy makes of sense to me than it did before. Anyways, if you have Reign of Chaos you need to have The Frozen Throne. There is not only a better campaign but the additions to the game also make the game much more fun online and, in my opinion, more balanced. They also expanded upon the elements which ended up making DOTA and other RPG-esque game types possible. Seriously a classic worth the combined 20$ (with Reign of Chaos of course).
Also this version comes in a nice plastic CD case for safe keeping. Not one of those paper boxes.
This is a good expansion to the game and while not adding anything new to the gameplay other than some new units, it does add a whole knew chapter to the story and has new landscapes, new characters and brings a conclusion to events in the first game, leading the way for the World of Warcraft series of games. One of the best parts of the game was the added bonus level, where you play a roaming warrior who agrees to help Thrall create his new kingdom. Definitely worth getting if you enjoyed Warcraft III.
