I just got these today, after 2 of my WD red 4 tb drives died in my NAS, they were less then 2 years old. I had a warranty for each drive which saved me some headaches. I was looking around, and saw these, and figured why not give it a shot. I'm not using the nas for anything to crazy, just streaming, some minor file backups, etc. I have everything backed up already on two other separate drives. The cable that came with it, seems to work, but was kind of wonky with the second drive. I took the cable off, and the drive booted up fine. Each one is showing "good" in crystaldisk info, as others have shown below, right at the 5 year mark for usage. They do spin pretty rough, but feel so beefy compared to standard Consumer NAS drives. The noise level isn't to bad, but are louder then my other drives. I ran them through a few tests and seem to be functioning fine, no errors, etc. I'm going to add them to my NAS later, I'll update if I have any issues.
The delivery was pretty quick, packaging could have been better. They were packed tight in two smaller boxes, but amazon put them in another box, which had some open space for them to move around in, a little bit of bubble wrap or packaging filler would have helped, just glad the drives are working.
