I got this as a Christmas present last year and I still enjoy playing it. The plot is well developed: Plankton has created an evil robot army, but they've gone out of control and are taking over Bikini Bottom. You get to play as SpongeBob, Patrick, Sandy, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs as you collect treasure, dodge clam-bots, and even help Patrick become a super hero in order to save Bikini Bottom from utter destruction. The graphics are really good. Like several other SpongeBob games, "The Battle for Bikini Bottom" uses Granny 3D graphics, with the exception of the intro and conclusion movies, which are done like the movies in "Operation Krabby Patty." The game also has an option of story mode, which helps the game go more smoothly as you have to unlock each game in order to continue throughout the game. The only thing that I dislike about this game is that Mr. Krabs' voice is done by a different person. Besides that, "The Battle for Bikini Bottom" is awesome for anyone who likes SpongeBob games.

I used to own this game as a kid and absolutely loved it because spongebob. A lot of the other people hate it because it is mini games, and which I understand, but it is still really fun. This game is actually kinda hard sometimes especially when trying to rescue sandy. But that’s just me

When I was a kid, I had this game on my family's computer. I thought it was pretty fun. However, later I played the Gamecube version. Completely different game and boy was that version waaay more fun.

The point is, you're probably looking for the console version: a 3D platformer where you collect Golden Spatulas. This is not that. This is more of a minigame collection.

So if you were hoping to play the beloved Battle for Bikini Bottom game on your PC, do not get this game. Buy the PS2, Xbox or Gamecube version.

However, kids will still like this game.

WARNING DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. This is not Battle for Bikini Bottom. This game is similar to an ABCmouse game or something. The PC version is not even the same game. Who ever did this should be sued. I am rely pissed of because they are the exact same names but two totally different games. I ordered it and was so excited to play it (i played it on gamecube when i was rely young a long time ago)When it came in the mail I felt as excited as i used to get as a child, but when i put it in the PC it turned out to be this stupid game meant for a three year old. I was so disappointed and upset. THis game is the biggest let down ever. I don't know why they made this PC game it is very misleading and who ever thought of this scam should be sued. This game has the same value as $1.99 app for a phone. this game is horrible. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

While the game was very simple and very short, the game was also very glitchy on my newer computer, however, only when it game to the graphics. The game played just like I remembered when I was a kid and the burst of nostalgia that I got from playing it was so satisfying that i didn't even care about the graphics being completely messed up.

My five year old just started playing video games and this is a good starter. The game is very forgiving, as SpongeBob never truly dies and my son gets a chance to start over at the last check point. This limits frustration since he doesn't have to start from the beginning every time. There are some areas that require a little adult help, but if one of us is not immediately available, there is enough to do in each area to keep him entertained. He will even jump SpongeBob off a cliff, so he can play the same area over and over.

I love this game! We bought it for our four year old grandson and it's so much fun we play it with him all the time. Some of the levels are a little to hard for him because he can't read yet but he can play most of them with out our help. If you have a boy or girl that loves to play PC games this one will keep them busy for hours.
