 System works great, but the console makes a loud annoying scratching sound when games are loading up, during cutscenes, and during menus. There is no noise during gameplay however atleast.

The seller selling the sega dreamcast console isn't refurbishing these products just selling at a premium. Upon turning on the CMOS battery was dead. If the machine was truly refurbished- the battery would be replaced.

This is not refurbished. Other reviewer have said the same thing. Buyer beware
