Taking the ball out of the hands of shoe salesman and giving it to characters based on schoolyard greats, NBA Street also plays by street rules. Off-the-backboard passes, nasty dunks, and a special momentum meter--which boosts your abilities as you humiliate the competition--let you know you're not playing arena ball. In fact, some of the courts are modeled after real-life basketball training grounds, such as New York's Rucker Park and the Cage. You'll see them all when you hit the road and take on the local crew. Perform well against them and you'll be able to recruit some special talent (did we say Mike?) to your team. Hold the Court mode will reward you with cool accessories, such as shoes and tattoos, by successfully defending the home court against challenging teams.

This game is very fun. It reminds me of nba jams for genesis & snes. The graphics are a lot better of course and the b-ball moves are just like they do in the actual And I games. That makes it fun also. Plus it has Michael Jordan as a player which is great. I think one of the reviewers said that it's not a good game, because it's not reality. It's a video game it's not suppose to be reality. The other team barely misses a shot & you as a player barely miss a shot. That's one of the things that make it fun. One more thing when you dunk the controller vibrates (that's cool). When a player fakes & shakes you, you might fall down the controller vibrates when you fall (that's cool). Purchase this game you won't be disappointed.

Not sure how long they tested it, but I'm def positive they only tested it once, and if it's working that ONE time, they clear it through. I was able to play once, but the next day it stopped working completely. I've had way more scratchy games that worked better than this.

Although it didn't ship with the case and the disk is a bit nicked here and there (as mentioned in the description ) it still works perfectly in my system and I haven't had any freezes or any other sort of problems while playing the game. Still I knew what I was getting into with buying a used game so the evidence that it was pre-owned doesn't bother me, as long as the game itself plays seemlessly on my console, which it does.
