    best fan light dimmer i ever installed! the problem i have had with others are the switches protrude from the switch and eventually get snapped off. The knobs on this switch is almost flush so that wont happen.

    This switch works better than I expected! I find this so convenient and easy to use. I had the electrician install this with my fan light. I like how it clearly marks which one is a fan and which one is a light so if you have guests, they don't get confused. The only thing is that the fan only has four settings: off, slow speed, medium speed, and fast speed. The light dimmer is unrestricted -so you can choose any brightness you choose want.

    The media could not be loaded.
     We built a new house and wanted LED slider switches in every room, so we bought eight of these. Out of the box, two of them would not work when you slid the light switch to the top. The lights would flicker weirdly and sometimes buzz until you slid the switch down to three quarters height. Getting support to send replacements was a nightmare. They didn't respond on their website and I had to complain on Twitter to get a response.

    Here we are 3 years later, and each and every one has had the same failure at some point. Cheap non-LED switches have worked better than these. Unless they've changed, I would avoid this product and this company.

    Like every Leviton switch that I've purchased, this is a well-made quality product. In order to save some money, I elected to buy this switch from the Amazon marketplace in used-like new condition. What I received was an obvious return in a slightly damaged box that was missing wire nuts. Neither the box condition nor the missing wire nuts bothered me as I don't need either and have plenty of wire nuts in my electrical toolbox.

    After turning off the appropriate electrical panel breaker, Installation was straight forward. Luckily, the electrician who put in the ceiling fan circuit in my house included an extra wire for independently controlling the ceiling fan's light fixture. All I had to do was connect the appropriate wires from the back of the switch to the red, black, white, and green circuit wires. Switch connection instructions that illustrate what switch wires go where come with the switch.

    Instead of the fan and light coming on together, I can now control each one independently. Mission accomplished!

    I used to buy $25 harbor breeze versions of this switch for my fans. I disliked them because the would spark internally and changing fan speed caused electrical interference and other lights to flicker.
    Well these switches, which I thought were an updated version of the same type, do exactly the same thing. Anytime you change the fan speed, it will cause the lights in the fan to flash brightly. I put LEDs in the fan and even when dimmed, it's like a camera flash when you change fan speed. If not for this needless frustration these would be perfect.

    Ok, let’s start out with I installed five of these switches in my house. They work amazing. But it took me a while To find the right bulbs. I was able to use eco smart 60-Watt Equivalent A19 Dimmable LED Light Bulb Soft White from Home Depot. They seem to work the best.
