Lenovo Android Tablet

Featuring up to the latest Android operating system, Lenovo tablets are great for entertainment and productivity. Perfect family devices, they’re easy to use for kids, grandparents, and everyone in between.

Lenovo Tab 4 7

Awesome Tablet Built for Sharing

The Lenovo Tab 4 7 is a smartly designed tablet built for the entire household.

An HD IPS display makes your movies come alive, while a speaker backed with Dolby Atmos gives it a real bark. Plus, everyone can enjoy this on their own personal space, thanks to the tablet’s multi-user capabilities.

All this is housed in a surprisingly thin and light form factor, making Tab 4 7 an ideal family tablet.

Audio That Flows Around You

Dolby Atmos turns the Tab 4 7 into a mobile entertainment experience over headphones and a built-in front-facing speaker, with moving audio that flows above and around the user. Users can expect rich and powerful sounds coming from all directions, overhead and with or without headphones.

Easy and Secure Sharing

We’ve made these tablets for use by more than one household member. Each user has their own account and space in the tablet, with their own settings, wallpaper and social media accounts. Separate password log-ins make it a truly secure personal space that you can share the tablet with others without worrying about privacy.

Beautiful Screen with IPS Display

The 7-inch display is made for cord-cutters to deliver an optimal Netflix or Hulu viewing experience. Its high definition screen comes at 1280 x 720 resolution on an IPS display.

    Great pad for the price!
This is a great size! Larger than a phone but not so cumbersome as a full-size pad. (I have Samsung 10.1 Tab A that weighs 2 pounds and it is just too bulky for this job)ProsThe display is really sharp. I was very surprised at this price point.CPU is fastWiFi is fast.Great battery life (so far)Lightweight and slim.Has a place for a sim card! So it can be a phone as well! (I was surprised)Cons.Dear God so many questions on the startup! I was getting sick of answering questions! The Storage use graphics are not right.Wifi – My home has 50 down 5 up. The pad gets 38 down 5 up. Nothing wrong with that.CPU- See below but once everything is done it is very crisp and responsive.Storage – I put in a 32 gig SD card and it just adds it to base memory somehow. So I have more than the 16 gig internal installed on it but it shows my huge app (more below about that is you care) is on the internal ram and SD Drive is o bytes used. It is very weird but not really a problem. Now, I read reviews below where it was laggy, the wifi was slow and the battery was slow to charge. I don’t know if those reviews applied to the cheaper one (“the essential) OR this one. I can tell you when I first got this one started up the updates start pretty quick, then a big OS update pulls as well. It probably took a solid hour for all the downloads and updates to finish. During that time all the reviews about laggy and slow were very true. However, once it was all done updating the battery started charging fast and the performance became very crisp (as it should be with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Snapdragon processor)For me, this is a one app tab. I have an aviation app, Garmin Pilot for those who care. It is a GPS/nav app that contains all information about all the geography in the USA right down to information such as runway length, frequencies, fuel cost and hours of operation for every airport in the USA along with real-time weather and info on every navigation aid in the USA. So the app itself is only 80 meg. However, it has an 11 GB database to work with! ;)So for battery life, I fired up Garmin Pilot. A serious weather system was marching across America. (see photo) With the screen locked, so no timeouts like it would be in the cockpit, I watched that system slowly march across the Midwest with 1-second refreshes for 2 hours. In two hours of continuous use it consumed 16% of the battery. Not bad if you ask me.So for the price, I find this hard to beat. For use in the cockpit, the small size and light weight are really perfect.

This Lenovo 7" tablet fits just perfectly in my hand. Wonderful size with a nice bright screen. It drains the battery qick, even when not using for short periods. As for the "glorious" Dolby Atmos, it didn't do much for me. Between the LOW volume and inability to customize the sound via the Lenovo app, I could not customize it like a good ol' graphic equalizer. There's a green light which flickers alerting you to an email or other notices. I would NOT recommend this for your only tablet or primary one. It takes a good while to charge up the internal battery. As for using this to enjoy sound, you'll definitely need either headphones or a Bluetooth speaker. Absolutely... without a doubt friend. I would not have this for my sole tablet unless you have amenities.

This is a nice tablet. The screen isn't too big, which I love, but it's nice enough and sharply bright for couch surfing. No It's not fast, but good enough for ur simple tappytap games, browsing stuff, watching twits and writing this review. It sounds good enough, but honestly u aren't doing to listen to music from here without headphones or Bluetooth, u sausage ;p. Nonetheless it's sound is good for YouTube, news, etc, and great battery life for reading and such one you tune it. It can do the wifis, the Bluetooth and the locations. Storage Space could be an issue if you download a bunch of apps so what you can get a nice SD card. This is cheap and good enough for a reasonable 7 inch and has the same specs as a fire, just with Google stuff. Oh, and yes it's a Nougat, one the only ones, and it will patch for the latest fixes as of this posting. Can't go wrong with this Lenovo.

I got 2 of these for my kids to replace our aging Nexus 7 tablets. They seem to be good, basic Android devices and my son was very happy to finally have a device with front and back cameras. But I did not realize when I bought them that they are not exactly the same size as the Lenovo 7" Essential tablet and don't fit the cases that are really available. As far as I can tell, nobody makes a case that fits these, although I can't be certain because the product has a name that is un-searchable on Amazon, eBay, or Google. Searches for "Tab 7" or "Lenovo Tab 7" return hundreds of products for other brands or other Lenovo models such as the Essential Tab 7. The bad product decisions by Lenovo (releasing two 7" tablets that are not accessory-compatible in the same year and not providing a case for the higher end model) get a low score from me. I wish I had bought the Essential instead.

This tablet is a bit slow in preforming task but it does do what it was bought for (entertainment). I would have been able to overlook the slow processing speed if this device were not otherwise problematic. It refuses to charge most days and when it does charge it take 8-10+ hours to do so. I do not recommend this product.

The good: I bought two for my kids. One lasted 5 months and the screen died. The ither one is still working.

The bad: Lenovo's customer service. After 20 days at Lenovos repair center (it is under warranty) no one really knows when they will repair it. They say a date but time goes by and nothing happens.

I would never, ever buy this tablet or brand again.
