For those trolling the comments about it not being safe clearly have not looked at the picture. It does not hinder their ability to glide or go around the waist. My neighbor purchased one and Cindy Sug glides quite well.

When I ordered this item, the picture of it on a little sugar glider showed a harness that covered most of the gliders body. It had two holes for front legs to go through and it went past and around the gliders back legs and fastened to the body of the harness. The item I received was just a small strip of fabric that only covered a tiny part of the gliders upper chest and did not cover the rest of the body or fasten anywhere else, which gives the owner absolutely no control over the glider or any part of irs body so it is not actually functional. Just for looks. Silly. But didn't order a harness for looks.

Would put zero stars if I could. Even though it doesn’t cut into their membrane, they can still break their necks! Sugar gliders aren’t dogs. If you want an animal that you can leash up, get a dog. Don’t get an exotic animal. All it would take is for the glider to get spooked and try and run or glide off and boom. There is no such thing as a safe leash! This is what we use bonding pouches for! This is what we use tents for tent time for. If you want a dog, then just get a dog! Not an exotic animal that you’re going to mistreat, put in danger, and try to make act outside of its natural behavior. Tents and pouches are for sugar gliders, not leashes!

This is a fabulous design and good quality. The long strip of fabric goes over the SG head and tail leaving the wings to expand without restriction and does not impede movement. But at the same time allows for the SG to be protected from harm when out of its habitate. Great Idea but the holes are too big and wont stay on.
