With the industry's only enterprise class 4 x 4 MIMO, three-spatial-stream access points that support the ieee's 802.11AC specification, the Cisco Aironet 3700 Series delivers industry-leading performance and a High density experience (HD experience) for both the enterprise and service provider markets. The Aironet 3700 Series extends support to Wi-Fi clients, such as smartphones, tablets, and high-performance laptops that have integrating 802.11AC support. In its first implementation, 802.11AC wave 1 provides a rate of up to 1.3 Gbps, roughly triple the rates offered by today's high-end 802.11N access points. This provides the necessary foundation for enterprise and service provider networks alike to stay ahead of the performance and bandwidth expectations and needs of their wireless users. Due to its convenience, wireless access is increasingly the preferred form of network connectivity for corporate users. Along with this shift, there is an expectation that wireless should not slow down users' day-to-day work, but should enable a high-performance experience while allowing users to move freely around the corporate environment.
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Works perfectly and arrived as advertised. I needed this for my lab environment and it was flawless. I am very happy with the product.
For those who are new to Cisco AP's keep in mind that they do not come with power supplies. If you wish to use for your network, you will need as power supply, a POE injector, or a switch with inline power capability.
You will also need a WLC for the first deployment. It does not allow you to execute the "Configure Terminal" command out of the box. Lastly, you will need a compatible mounting bracket for ceiling installation.
Packaging was perfect and very professional, it was shipped on time, tiny glitch one AP was not working but seller offered replacement. I recommend this seller because he/she knows how to please customer and provide good service.
Seller puts items as being NEW yet I bought a Cisco AIR-CAP3702I-A-K9 Aironet 3702I and didn't come with any CISCO documentation and the CISCO Default login and password where changed so I couldn't log in to it either. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER !
My spouse is my toughest customer and the speed of the wireless integrated in our router dropped after I applied some patches. The Cisco Aironet 3702i restored and improved the performance far beyond. It's also significantly more powerful and highly configurable. Not as straightforward as a router with integrated wireless, however, so be prepared to do some reading prior to deployment.
