Purchased as a tester cable for some older monitors I pulled out of storage, worked perfectly with no issues. I also tried it on a couple of newer monitors and it might just be my own perception, but they appeared clearer than with just straight HDMI going into them, probably a color mode thing, just slightly more vivid. Only way to really know would be to have 2 of the same monitor side by side, a task for another day. Would purchase again.
