I needed a patch lead to run my stereo streaming service, White is just the colour to run up against the skirting, but Belkin in their wisdom wrap it so tightly in their packaging that it kinks the cable sheath. I am not able to test the cable for compliance with Cat 5e standards, (who is) but I have no idea if Belkin's 'strangling' of this cable when packing it does it any harm?
I left it in the sun for a couple of hours to soften the outer sheath of the cable a little so that I could straighten it out, but I don't think it will ever lie absolutely flat/straight.
It works, I can't confirm that it complies, but I do know that it may never lie flat! Horrid cable to use, all caused by Belkin's idiotic packing process.
