    About this game

    King Arthur Knight’s Tale is a turn-based CRPG developed by NeocoreGames, a modern dark fantasy retelling of the classic stories of Arthurian mythology with a twist on the traditional tales of chivalry. You are the dreaded Sir Mordred rival of king Arthur and the former black knight of legend, in a fierce battle between you and King Arthur both of you managed to fatally wound the other. Yet you wake up, the lady of the lake had brought you back for a mission to end King Arthur once again, or whatever nightmare he has become.

     
    • Pick and choose from 30 heroes and 5 different classes, make use of hundreds of skills and artifacts, choose your battles and take advantage of the tactical-turn based combat system. Use the terrain to flank enemies or seek cover against archers, be sneaky hide and use traps, you need to be always on your feet one wrong move a hero could be maimed and killed permanently
    • With Arthur turned now is your chance to lead the knights of the round table you might have to make decisions that might contradict their morals, whatever your choices might be it’s on your own terms. Send them on quests, level up their skill trees, fine-tune their inventory with the complex loot system. Meet famous characters from Arthurian legends Sir Gawain, Merlin, Morgan le fay, etc.
    • You will be able to see your entire kingdom on the strategic map, observe all of your fiefdoms, complete over 50 unique missions, challenge 7 different enemy factions, with more than 50 types of enemy units, and explore various mythical locations. Rebuild Camelot to its former glory.

    Despite a few shortcomings, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is one of the best strategy RPGs I’ve played. While the SRPG aspects are pretty great, this alternate take on the Arthurian Tale can keep you engaged with its characters and stories.

    Overall though, it’s been a lot of fun diving back into the Arthurian legend and this darker take on it. It’s a fun game with a decent amount of polish to it. Grab it if you love Arthurian mythology or just decent turn based RPGs.

    I am not the biggest turn-based games fan but as I get older, I have been getting more and more drawn into them. This game however is pretty interesting looking. I’m sure it will be the one to get me to stick in the genre.
