The stereo sensor unit is designed to be mounted indoors in ceilings - either recessed in a drop ceiling for a discreet installation, or surface-mounted with the included adapter. It is ideal for use, for example, in stores, banks, stations and airports.

Greater precision

AXIS P8804 Stereo Sensor Kit provides synchronized stereo imaging from an AXIS F8804 Stereo Sensor Unit and an AXIS F34 Main Unit.

When the kit is used with compatible analytics from Axis or a partner, the combined solution can provide greater precision in such applications as people counting, queue management and heat mapping.

Improved accuracy

Stereo imaging enables the creation of a three-dimensional depth map that helps improve the accuracy of analytics such as people counting. A 3D depth map enables such applications to overcome challenging situations where there are shadows, strong sunlight, glares or high flows of people to or from a location.

Discreet

The stereo sensor unit is designed to be mounted indoors in ceilings - either recessed in a drop ceiling for a discreet installation, or surface-mounted with the included adapter.
